Product introduction

       Fast T4 DNA Ligase is produced by E. coli carrying T4 phage gene 30. The enzyme catalyzes the formation of phosphodiester bonds between 5'-phosphate groups and 3'-hydroxyl groups between duplex DNA or RNA. The enzyme can repair single-stranded nicks between double-stranded DNA, RNA or DNA/RNA complexes, and can connect DNA fragments with sticky ends or blunt ends, but it is inactive for single-stranded nucleic acids, mainly used for restriction endonucleases Enzyme digestion product DNA fragment cloning, gene site-directed mutagenesis and PCR product cloning, repair of double-stranded DNA nicks and linear DNA self-circularization. Fast T4 DNA Ligase requires ATP as a cofactor and takes only 10 minutes to complete the cohesive end ligation reaction at room temperature.
